Supporting the official hair trade press launch for the new Fudge Professional TRI-BLO blow dry spray which is due to launch this September.
For the launch of TRI-BLO, Fudge Professional collaborated with top fashion designer, Katie Eary to create a limited edition monster stylist tool bag. The brand wanted to host a fun event to create hype around TRI-BLO and Katie’s tool bag and let press see and feel the benefits of the new blow dry spray.
Transforming the rooftop of private members club, Soho House into a tropical garden, Fudge Professional dressed the event venue with brightly coloured flowers and feathers, whilst Ivy hung from the ceiling. The addition of hundreds of red and orange balloons to match the colours of the Katie Eary stylist tool bag, mini-monsters and googly eyes galore created full on monster mayhem. Guests were served breakfast canapés and smoothies, and for those with a sweet tooth, there was copious amounts of monster themed sweets and snacks, including cake pops in the form of monster eyes.
Blow dry stations, complete with blow dry menus, were set up to demonstrate the benefits of the new TRI-BLO blow dry spray, with Brand Ambassadors, Paul Phillips and Reece Bullman from CHOPP hair salon in Essex, on hand for hair styling.
A fun start to the day, the breakfast event was received very well and lots of press were able to have their hair blow dried. Katie’s monster tool bag was a huge hit too and press were delighted to be given one along with their goody bag.
Essence PR was responsible for looking after the hair trade press and ensuring not only that the key hair trade titles attended the event, but to oversee and manage the trade campaign post-event to secure wide spread coverage and awareness of the new TRI-BLO blow dry spray and Katie Eary tool bag.
It certainly wasn’t a hardship helping to create the monster madness and eating sweets for breakfast! We’re looking forward to seeing the coverage come through over the next few months
